SOAR is an inter-university, industry-stream NSERC Collaborative Research and Training (CREATE) program in Software Analytics Research which aims to train ~100 undergraduates, graduate students, and post-doctoral fellows to analyze software project and usage data, helping construct software that is more secure, sustainable, scalable, and cost-effective.
Led by Prof. Chanchal Roy, the SOAR project involves co-applicants from University of Saskatchewan, University of Alberta, University of Calgary/York University, and University of British Columbia, along with 50 local, national and international industry and academic partners.
The SOAR Program has been actively recruiting PhD, MSc and undergraduate students. All the trainees of the SOAR program are fully funded. If you are interested to join the program, please look at the program overview, visit the home pages of the co-applicants and contact them.
